Lions Club of Booragoon - helping the local community for 42 years
$1,000 grant opportunity to an organisation, initiative or community project in the Melville region.
Lions Clubs Australia will celebrate 100 years of service in 2017. To mark this milestone, one hundred $1,000 grants will be awarded nationally under The Lions Community 100 Program to local projects which make a difference in FOUR categories:
- VISION (example: collection of used spectacles)
- HUNGER (example: provision of meals, collection of food items)
The Lions Club of Booragoon is one of the Australian Lions Clubs chosen to participate in the grant opportunity. The Club will award one $1,000 grant to an organisation, initiative or project in the Melville and surrounding areas.

The Lions Club of Booragoon will select three finalists, from which Lions Australia will nominate one winning project by mid-August 2016.
