Friends of Booragoon & Blue Gum Lakes receive $1,000 grant

We are delighted to announce that our Club has awarded a $1,000 community grant to the Friends of Booragoon and Blue Gum Lakes.

The group is conserving and restoring the native vegetation in the reserves around the lakes with the support of the City of Melville and other organisations.

The grant was awarded as part of the national Lions' Community 100 grant project associated with the 100 year celebration of Lions Clubs International in 2017.
